Fitness Fridays – 15 Minute Workout
Simple Workout When on the Road?
15 minute Workout
Welcome to another Fitness Friday Post. This weeks Fitness Fridays – 15 Minute Workout is for the hunter on the go, the traveler, the nomad.
At least once a week I have team members, pro staff members and other people ask similar questions. The question is framed differently but all in all, the question has to do with, I don’t have time to get to the gym, there is not gym here, I am traveling. HELP. What can I do.
I literally told a team member the other day that if he wants to be freeky, go outside, find a tree and do some pull-ups. Was I kidding? Yes and No. You can literally get a 15 minute workout in anywhere.
You don’t need a gym, you don’t need anything special. You just need 15 minutes for a 15 minute workout.
So lets cut to the chase. Here we go! First lets talk about the word failure. Failure in the fitness world means to push yourself until you can not push anymore.
Here is your Fitness Friday – 15 Minute Workout:
- Warmup: 1 to 5 minutes burpees.
- Main Set: Pushups to failure followed by setups to failure. Rinse and Repeat until you can barely get 2-5 reps. This will be approximately 5 sets.
- Main Set: Isometric Squats. Basically, sit in the squat position for as long as you can and repeat for 3 sets.
- Cool Down: Sit on the floor trying not to vomit. Nah…Go for a walk.
It is that simple and that quick. This Fitness Fridays – 15 Minute Workout will fill the void when you are in a time crunch.
